My LOVE for Erin Condren!-Ask Megan

Hey there! Happy Thursday! I'm here with something SUPER exciting!

In the past few weeks I have been asked the following questions:

"Megan, what kind of planner do you suggest for a first year teacher?"
"Megan, Why did you switch your lesson plan format?"
"Which Erin Condren product do you like better, the Teacher planner or the Life planner?"

...there were a few more like this and they are coming from all over! My principal was curious, my Kindergarten teacher wanted to know, my friends on Instagram were asking...SOOOOOOO

I MADE A VIDEO (shocker) to answer these questions!

Now, here is what you need to do...

1) Watch the video to hear my answers to all these great questions. (WARNING: I make lots of facial expressions)

I want to hear from YOU!

Hey there! I hope you are all enjoying your weekend by relaxing and bingeing on Netflix, Serial podcasts and adult beverages. WOOHOO!

My fun filled weekend started off with a question that has been sitting in the back of my mind for a few weeks now.  As many of you know, I recently started making video tutorials to help my bloggy friends (you) make their lives easier.  I am NO expert at making these videos, but I have found that it is kind of fun to get to actually talk "to" people.

However,  I began to wonder a few things about the two (yes, only two) tutorials I have made:

1) Is anyone really watching them? (I feel the same way about my blog sometimes ha!)

2) Are people finding them helpful? (I could just be rambling...I have a tendency to do that)

3) Do people want more or do they want me to stop? (I can be a lot to handle...maybe the computer/blog is a good buffer.)

So, I decided to ask you guys for you HONEST opinions. YES...I really mean HONEST. I don't do well with awkwardly kind comments people use to tell you "your videos suck" or that I sound like the  Alvin's long lost sister from the chipmunks (I've got the cheeks for it, folks).

So...here is your chance! You get to tell me what you think, what you need and what you want to see! My goal is to help others....I love collaborating ,which is one of the major reasons I started blogging.  No, my punctuation isn't always correct and I make up words that don't truly exist...WHO CARES (well...my mother, honestly...and I'm sure there are others).

ANYWAYS...

By clicking on the image below, the one with my face on it, you will be redirected to a google form.  Fill out the google form and let me know what you would like to see, send me questions or simply tell me to stop with the videos (it's your chance to be honest).

What are you waiting for? Go for it!

I truly appreciate any and all feedback! Thank you for taking the time to fill it out and leave your honest comments.

I hope you all have an AH-MA-ZING weekend!

Pin this image or share it on Instagram (tag me, of course) and share your thoughts!

Today's tutorial is over Class Dojo! I have had a lot of questions about how I use Class Dojo in my classroom, so I thought I would show you how I use it and how you can get started with Class Dojo for your classroom!

Now, I am long winded and there is A LOT of things that I LOVE about Class Dojo, so the first video was around 30 minutes long. YIKES, right?! SOOOO...I cut it down to 20 minutes, because no one wants to sit and listen to me drone on about Class Dojo for 30 minutes...well, not unless you are getting Professional Development points for it! So...I am going to preface this video with this:

If you still have questions or need help with getting started on Class Dojo after you have watched the video...PLEASE CONTACT ME! I would be more than happy to help you out!

Keeping life organized in 2015!

Hey there! I hope you have had a wonderful start to the New Year!

I realized today that I need to find a consistent way to keep track of my life.  I have been using my Erin Condren Teacher Planner to keep track of my life, but I noticed that over breaks I have a tendency to not bring it with me to my Fiancé's house. Whoops!

So..I decided to hop back over to Erin Condren and purchase some goodies to help keep my life organized!

Check it out!!
Life planner

Erin Condren has created a fast ship life planner!! Can I get an AMEN?!? I wanted to purchase her awesome coil clips to keep everything in one place, and then...I found this!

Carry all clutch

Holy cannoli's! It's a carry all bag! Who doesn't love an adorable little bag?! So, I HAD to get this to keep everything together (since I have a terrible habit of sticking things in between pages and hoping that they stay). I even put my SOON TO BE last name on mine! EEKK!

And that's not even the best part!

I went back today to check on my order (I ordered it a few days ago) and Erin is running an awesome deal (that I missed, but you shouldn't!)

You get a FREE Sunday Funday shirt with any purchase over $75.00 (let's be serious...that is SUPER easy to do on EC stuff).

So, don't miss out!! Click on any of the above images to hope over to Erin Condren and grab what ever your heart desires!

Oh! Wait! Before you go....

Be sure to click that follow button so you can stop back tomorrow for my tutorial on Class Dojo!

See you tomorrow!

January Currently!

Hey there! Happy New Year!!

I have decided to avoid all the cleaning I have to do from our NYE party last night by blogging! WOOHOO!! I am joining Farley for her monthly currently link-up...you should too!

Let's get rollin'

Listening- We are hard up for entertainment at my house and often my fiancé takes it upon himself to do strange things like chase our dog, try and make our dog sing, try to get our dog to run a route...ya know...the normal stuff.  Currently, my fiancé is covered in a blanket and is chasing Kyle around the living room...he (my fiancé ) just ran into the closet door, maybe he should of taken the blanket off of his head...HAHAHAH!!!!  So, Kyle is barking loudly at him...which is a nice change from the constant football jargon that is leaking from our television.

Loving- I am so excited that 2015 is finally here!! This year will be a year filled with weddings, including my own! I have had over a year to plan my wedding (which I have loved having such a long time), but I have a feeling that from here on out everything will be a blur.  Only 162 days until I day "I do"....not that I'm counting or anything.

Thinking- I really need to get my brain and bathroom break schedule back on track for school. Anybody else struggle with potty breaks after having a holiday break? I always will be sitting a guided reading and come to the scary realization that my body hasn't realized we no longer have our bathroom freedom! Plus...I am having a really hard time wrapping my brain around IEP meetings, PD, etc. when we get back.  It is just so hard to do when we have had such a lovely break! Maybe I'll do that stuff tomorrow..?......NAH!

Wanting- We had our friends over last night to ring in the New Year with us and we have some cleaning to do.  We have a lot of dishes to clean and I HATE doing dishes! I have extremely dry hands, so the more I have my hands in water, (which is a lot when I'm at school) the more my hands will crack and split. It's really not fun. Plus, I hate touching other people's leftover, mushy food that has been left on plates. ICK!

Needing- To get my butt to the gym! I have been running up and down the stairs at my fiancé's house for workouts and trying to avoid all of the NYE resolution-ers that linger at the YMCA. I finally got back to my Yoga studio..which was amazing, but now I need to get back to a consistent schedule of working out. That means I will have to brave the packed YMCA and prowl for a stair-stepper, treadmill or elliptical with the rest of them.  Bring it on!

Yes- I will put my gym membership to good use and begin shrinking my lovely lady lumps! Sweatin' for the Weddin'!

Maybe- I should probably start downsizing and moving some things to my fiance's house. I have a really hard time getting rid of things, so maybe if I start now I will have some of it taken care of by June. Probably not though.

I wish- I really wish I was able to travel more. I always dream of taking vacations to see the world and then when I look up the cost of doing those things I panic and back out. I hope someday I will stop backing out and will actually travel more. I mean, it's only money, right?

Well, there ya have it folks! I hope you all have a blessed New Year! Stay tuned for my upcoming Class Dojo tutorial right here or over at The Primary Pack! Go ahead and click that follow button and I'll see you back here soon!
